Key achievements:
• Actively managed >USD 500,000 external communications (marketing communications, public relations and public affairs) annual budget, achieving maximum outputs at highest cost efficiencies, resulting in OPEX savings.
• Served as point of contact for external public relations, executing a regional communications roadmap, reviewing press releases, managing relationships with media outlets, and briefing the company’s senior management. Successfully planned and managed company events (e.g. trade shows, conferences, seminars) and an annual events budget of >USD 200,000.
• Served as regional lead for corporate sustainability initiatives, engaging in partnerships with UN agencies (e.g. World Food Programme), international NGOs (e.g. Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition, World Vision International, MercyCorps, Save The Children), internationally-renowned universities in the USA, Europe, Latin America and Asia, and other MNCs. • Developed, grew and maintained relationships with important stakeholder groups, including key opinion leaders in academia, research institutions, NGOs, governments and online communities. • Aligned organizational scientific, marketing and public relations resources to provide communication and stakeholder engagement support to account managers and markets.
• Developed KPIs and other metrics to evaluate communications and advocacy outcomes against organizational objectives.
