Work Background
CurbioBackend Developer
Jul. 2023 - Dec. 2023RemoteUsing C#, .netCore, Azure Functions, PetaPoco, and EntityFramework, and an Azure SQL backend, I collaborated and worked with a diverse, remote team to continue building and enhancing the api for the Curbio Agent Mobil App. I worked closely with third party partners to integrate into our system, but my largest contribution was the work I did for the Real Time Sales Desk. I used GIT on a daily basis to track my work, and I built out many of the api endpoints in a Postman Collection, which I shared with other developers, QA, and production support.

ScholarRxSenior Software Engineer
Jun. 2017 - Nov. 2021Louisville, Kentucky AreaI started my time at ScholarRx by completing the initial rebuild of the customer service tools using ASP.NET Core (MVC) in C#. I led two other developers in the design and development of the rebuild for the tooling for the editorial team. This was used internally by full-time editorial staff members, and externally (and globally) by part-time and volunteer editorial members. Post-launch I provided on-going support, training, feature enhancements, and bug fixes. The tools for editorial comprised of a .net Core MVC application, several console applications, and .net Core Web API. I worked as the primary back-end developer for the company's newest and highest priority product, RxBricks. My role with RxBricks involved building out the legacy MVP brick management tool (.net Core MVC), and then building out the api layer using .net Core Web API. My responsibilities also included importing the digital version of the text book each year; working closely with the business to gather and tune requirements; working closely with QA to ensure as few bugs went to production as possible; assisting the team with monthly Azure deployments; providing general support and special projects as needed to the editorial team; assisting DevOps with the management of Azure Streaming Services and Azure CDN. Besides Azure Streaming Services and Azure CDN, all projects were built in .net Core with an Azure SQL database, heavy utilization of Entity Framework Core, MVC and Web API, Azure DevOps and full CD/CI.
