Analysis of purchase requests, definition of potential suppliers, obtaining quotes from suppliers, analysis of proposals, purchase decision, negotiation, documentation, issuance of purchase orders, creation and negotiation of contracts, delivery follow-up, resolution of pending payments in categories of office supplies, equipment, chemicals, books, Building Administration, Events and Human Resources.
Purchasing support for IBM São Paulo - which was the largest branch, as the headquarters at the time was in Rio.
Implementation of MDQ – Market Driven Quality in the Indirect Purchasing area, with the adoption of new indicators and work methodologies aligned with the Six Sigma concept of quality Active participation with generation of ideas in the Quality Circle, resulting in financial awards and presentation to the executive quality committee, at the IBM factory in Hortolândia-SP.
Audit reviews of low-value purchases delegated to IBM branches in Belo Horizonte, Salvador, Curitiba and Florianópolis. Main achievements: Reduction in purchasing cycle time, implementation of a manual report comparing historical prices of purchased items, reduction of expenses by consolidating purchases, saving costs by eliminating purchases of products that were in stock, dissemination of the MDQ/Six culture Sigma, positive feedback from internal customers, auditable purchasing posture from branches.
