Grew customer base from 1,500 to 3,500 by upgrading the network infrastructure, redesigning services, and increasing internet speeds available to customers. Cut operational costs by implementing new or custom-built systems and grew customer base resulting in an increase in revenue from $900K to over $2M. Designed, developed, and maintained a call-center system built with Twilio, Node.js, SIP, and MongoDB that at its peak handled over 24,000 minutes per month reducing hold times and costs from $15,000 to $3,000 annually. Worked with the Network Administrator to design and deploy a wireless network spanning three counties in Washington state with over 2,000 nodes. Together we managed and secured several Linux and Windows servers for email, DNS, CRM, billing, and other services. Services hosted on premises using VMware vSphere and, in the cloud, using AWS. Developed an irrigation intelligence system for farmers that utilized moisture probes, weather sensors, and wireless telemetry to make smarter irrigation decisions by using soil moisture, irrigation history, and weather data. This system was used in the irrigation of over 6,000 acres of agricultural land, conserving water and increasing crop yields.
