A little more about me. My business DNA was shaped early in my career during my time at Oracle, where driving to success was the only goal. I have carried that passion in individual contributor and senior leadership roles.
It has been my opportunity to lead large sales and business development organizations as well as be a part of boot-strap startups. I have led the growth of an internet deployment company from $30mm to $130mm (in 3 years, while only increasing budget 10%) and another company from $18mm to $65mm in 4 years (while increasing budget 55%).
If you were to ask any friends or associates to use one word to describe me in one word it would be “competitive.” I played three sports at the highest level in high school and baseball in college and continue to play basketball at a highly competitive level. Like sales, sports is an opportunity to push myself while keeping score, and win. I continue to dabble with wind surfing and waterskiing and put my phone on silent when more than 8” of fresh powder falls.
Another area of personal interest is in the field of mental health and youth at risk. I am a certified instructor providing training for families struggling with mental illness challenges and served as chairman for the state of Utah for the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI).
Also, please note that I am also not “just a pretty sales guy” having co-authored two patents in the field of healthcare related AI and one in telemedicine.
