Previously, the IT Enterprise Program Manager for a large K-12 school system with 70+ schools expanding throughout the US. In a previous life, I was the founder, editor, and lead blogger for Arlington Kids, a site connecting Washington, DC area families to news and events related to them. My work has been featured on WashingtonPost.com, NPR, and Parenting Magazine, and has resulted in relationships with National Geographic and The Smithsonian Institute, among others.
Prior to Arlington Kids, I worked in Public Relations and Media Relations in Washington, DC and have been privileged to work on projects that affect public policy in the Environmental, Scientific, Technological, and Social spaces.
I've worked in Web Production, Corporate Identity, Social Media, Content Strategy, and Training for the American Red Cross Retirees of the Washington, DC Metro Area, Restorative Justice Foundation, Think Grow Play, and others.
