For the past eight years I successfully built Compass Box Whisky Co’s business across the Western US and Canada, increasing sales by over 250% during that time. Working for a small, independent producer meant I had to wear many different hats and maintain a start-up mentality, while performing duties as widespread as presenting annual sales plans to distributor VPs, selling into accounts of all sizes, training consumers and trade people to organizing and hosting consumer events of all scales. And I loved it.
Prior to that I helped build a distributor portfolio of high-integrity brands across the uber-competitive Bay Area market during the height of the craft spirits boom. Brands such as Del Maguey (pre-Pernod), High West (pre-Constellation), Michter’s, Fortaleza Tequila, Four Roses and many more.
