Πέρασα μια ολόκληρη δεκαετία στην άλλη πλευρά του counter — σε ξενοδοχεία, σε rent-a-car, σε κάθε περιβάλλον όπου η εμπειρία του πελάτη συναντιέται με τη ροή της επιχείρησης — πριν αποφασίσω να φτιάξω εγώ τα εργαλεία που θα μου είχαν λύσει το πρόβλημα. Σήμερα είμαι πιστοποιημένος full-stack engineer με ισχυρή εστίαση σε internal tools, AI-driven αυτοματισμούς και MCP server development. Μέσα σε λιγότερο από έναν χρόνο έχτισα πάνω από δέκα production-grade projects, παράλληλα με μια απαιτητική, πλήρους απασχόλησης θέση στις λειτουργίες στόλου της Europcar Greece. Δεν είμαι developer που μαθαίνει για επιχειρήσεις. Είμαι άνθρωπος επιχειρήσεων που έμαθε να γράφει κώδικα.
Η ιστορία μου ξεκινάει στον τουρισμό. Από το 2015 και για περισσότερα από πέντε χρόνια, εργάστηκα σε ξενοδοχειακές μονάδες, μαθαίνοντας τι σημαίνει εξυπηρέτηση υψηλού επιπέδου σε διεθνές περιβάλλον, διαχείριση κρίσεων υπό πραγματική πίεση, εκτέλεση δεκάδων ταυτόχρονων εργασιών χωρίς να χάνεται η ποιότητα. Το 2021 μπήκα στην Europcar Greece, όπου πέντε χρόνια τώρα διαχειρίζομαι την καθημερινή λειτουργία στόλου: παραλαβές και παραδόσεις οχημάτων, damage reporting, εξυπηρέτηση ελληνικού και διεθνούς πελατολογίου, συντονισμό με συνεργεία, μεταφορείς και washers. Αυτή η εμπειρία δεν είναι «προηγούμενη ζωή» — είναι το θεμέλιο πάνω στο οποίο χτίζω σήμερα προϊόντα. Ξέρω από πρώτο χέρι ποιες είναι οι πραγματικές τριβές σε ένα enterprise workflow, ποια εργαλεία βοηθούν πραγματικά τον άνθρωπο πίσω από το counter, και ποια απλώς προσθέτουν θόρυβο σε μια ήδη φορτωμένη μέρα.
Η στροφή προς την ανάπτυξη λογισμικού δεν ήρθε από θεωρητική περιέργεια. Ήρθε από την καθημερινή τριβή με συστήματα που δεν δούλευαν όπως έπρεπε. Ξεκίνησα αυτοδίδακτος το 2022 μέσω του freeCodeCamp, κατέκτησα τα fundamentals του σύγχρονου web development, και τον Ιανουάριο του 2025 ξεκίνησα το πιστοποιημένο πρόγραμμα Full-Stack Engineering του Micro1, το οποίο ολοκλήρωσα τον Φεβρουάριο του 2026.
