For the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of teaching code all over the world—working with kids as young as 6, as well as adults and early- to mid-career professionals. I’ve taught in person and remotely, and I’ve built, managed, and scaled bootcamps and training programs across Indonesia, Rwanda, Iraq, Canada, Yemen, Turkey, and the U.S.
Along the way, I’ve had the chance to design and launch programs that broke new ground: building the first freelance academy in Iraq, helping establish the country’s first coding bootcamp, and creating a front-end development bootcamp in Kigali in partnership with local incubators and startups.
My work has always gone beyond the classroom. At CodeMobile - a summer tour across Canada where we taught 10,000 kids to code - I planned the route, coordinated with schools, hired the team, and even joined the east coast leg to lead workshops. At HTD, I designed and scaled enterprise-level programs that prepared developers to thrive in the workplace.
