Sep. 2005 - Jan. 2010France, PalaiseauRole of magnetic inertia in damped macrospin dynamics:
• Analytical model development on the magnetization dynamics submitted to magnetic fields and thermal fluctuations using the Mesoscopic Nonequilibrium Thermodynamics theory developed by the Barcelona research group. A new phenomenon was discovered theoretically for time scales smaller than the picosecond. The model was later published in
Rapid Comm. Phys. Rev. B and now (March 23, 2026) has 191 citations.
• Electrical measurements of silicon nanowires embedded in an alumina membrane. The conductance was measured as a function of the injected DC current and applied magnetic field at temperatures varying between 4 and 300 K.
• Author and co-author in 8 papers. Supervisors: Prof. Jean-Eric WEGROWE and Prof. José Miguel RUBI
