AITIA International, Inc.C/C++ Software Developer
Jun. 2004 - Apr. 2018Budapest- I designed, implemented and maintained a number of server and client components of our MS Windows-based SS7 network systems (see http://sga.aitia.ai/). The server components run 7/24, and some of them process large amounts of data in real-time. Though most of the programs that I wrote were in C++, there were a few projects in pure C as well. I used multi-threading in my programs when needed for greater efficiency. I also wrote a simple firmware code in x86 Assembly for one of our SS7 capture cards.
- TCP/IP was used extensively in our systems. SCTP was also used because of SIGTRAN.
- I have implemented an efficient protocol decoder library for numerous telecommunications protocols. The library is in C++. I used Perl to convert raw textual protocol descriptions to C code.
- I was in charge of a client application with which protocol messages can be decoded, viewed and searched for. (It is similar to Wireshark.)
- Subversion was used for version control.
