USAID Indonesia - Democracy, Rights and GovernanceProject Development Specialist
Jul. 2006 - Dec. 2015As a development specialist for USAID, I have to manage, monitor and evaluate programs, and also to design a five-year strategic plan, to keep the stakeholder network, to ensure the funding availability of the portfolio and to show to visitors from the headquarter (Washington) that the programs run well, go on track and reach the development objectives. Up to December 2014, I managed a program called: Strengthening Integrity and Accountability Program (SIAP) 2. It is aimed at increasing demands and voices to build a new culture of accountability and integrity. Through this SIAP-2, I am managing grants for five big local NGOs in Indonesia to reach the program objectives. They are working in more than 23 cities throughout Indonesia. These five big local NGOs are also working with grass-root level community groups and international institutions as well. After closing out the SIAP2, Iโm the team leader for the activity to design the Violence Against Women program in Eastern Indonesia. The first draft of the Program Direction now is being finalized.
