Subsequently involved in the recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and mentoring of new colleagues coming into the role, including ongoing skills and knowledge gap assessment. Initiated, owned, and facilitated several internal projects aimed at increasing the visibility of; JLR, its products, and propositions and sales strategies into key markets. Adopted a consultative and collaborative approach to become an integral part of the sales process acting as the conduit between contract hire companies and JLR’s; fleet and business sales teams, regional business managers, and internal colleagues to build incremental sales and present a joined-up approach for customers. Scoped, developed, and delivered communication and training packages for the contract hire & leasing companies and their sales teams in conjunction with JLR production, planning, and marketing, to support; new vehicle launches; vehicle runout, and mid-life product changes. Built relationships based on integrity and trust to create advocacy and support with networking opportunities. Identified issues and conflicts of interest early and escalated as appropriate. Maintained accurate and timely reports.

Developed a strategic plan for territory management and customer acquisition. This led to managing the outsourced, inbound, telemarketing team to assist them in delivering quality corporate prospects and helping to promote Land Rover vehicles. Identified ongoing training needs and delivered accordingly. Presented at C-Suite level. Sales over the period grew by 746%. Assessed new and existing business requests to maximize the opportunity for Land Rover vehicles within customer vehicle policies whilst maintaining JLR profitability. Negotiated with the JLR retailer network to further maximize support for; product, delivery, and in-life services. Liaised with third-party suppliers to maximize the potential for Land Rover vehicles and identify incremental opportunities within the defined territory. Created, promoted, presented, and supported Land Rover at customer events in the corporate market within the defined territory. Involved in the creation of a Corporate Retailer Manager role (now Corporate Retailer Programme Manager) within Land Rover to support a newly established Corporate Retailer network and a ‘toolkit’ to support retailer-based employees coming into the role. Developed an induction program for new colleagues coming into the business and mentored them as appropriate.

Initiated a re-brand of core business finance products and undertook an analysis of in-life costs and vehicle disposal.
