I am a Direct Leader for a team of 12. Each direct is responsible for achieving their own fiscal goals (set by me) and/or completion of their quarterly rocks, in alignment with the company strategy. I lead and oversee strategic planning for the company. I coordinate and organize larger annual/quarterly meetings as well a monthly meetings to check in. I also hold All Hands Meetings to ensure that the all employees understand where we’re headed and how we intend to get there. Lastly, UHS is a relatively small company so I often wear the HR hat. I am responsible for all hiring and overseeing any firing. I am an excellent listener and am often a resource for employees to talk with when they need help with how to approach things with their coworkers. We all have our areas of “nerd” and culture is mine. I fully believe that culture is EVERYTHING!
