Feb. 2005 - Mar. 2009Maintenance and organization of the Human Resources Department in a Generalist capacity. Responsible for the administration of HR policies and procedures for exempt and non-exempt employees in multiple locations including, but not limited to: benefits administration, employment law compliance, bi-weekly payroll (garnishments, etc.) recruitment, employee relations, and HRIS management. Maintaining the HR Policy Handbook, coordinating performance reviews, employee surveys, open enrollment, new hire orientation, terminations, accruals, COBRA, workers compensation. Constant communication with the department managers, benefits brokers, and payroll/benefits vendors. Report directly to HR Director/VP and President; work directly with Accounting Manager as it directly relates to payroll and recruiting budgets.
