Facilitate frequent status briefings that detail project progress and clarify specific requirements of each project
Coordinates internal resources to produce results by communicating job expectations for planning, executing, and monitoring IT projects throughout the system development and project management lifecycles respectively
Maintains departmental effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies
Provides IT strategy oversight by evaluating project outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements based on best practices
Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation that defines project scope, objectives to ensure technical feasibility and strategic continuity
Develops comprehensive project plans to monitor progress to Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Manages third-party relationships to ensure effective collaboration among multiple agencies
Evaluates and reviews project level risks and issues to ensure minimal schedule variances and successful project performance throughout the project management lifecycle
Assess and validate risk probability and impact scores to determine project risk level
Ensure appropriate assignment and reporting of risk/issue information, such as risk owner, risk realization date, and risk status
Continuously assesses risks for reprioritization based on mitigation strategies and contingency plans from critical stakeholders
Provide guidance on project management and SDLC best practices/lessons learned for project operations and execution
