Documentum is document management software that provides management of document content and attributes such as check-in, check-out, workflow, and version management. DEVELOPMENT CONTROL The objective of the project was to upgrade the Development Control application for the Development Control department. The Development Control department approves building plans for the City of Johannesburg. They make sure they are complied with the zoning regulations of the Town Planning Scheme. INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS: IMQS IMPLEMENTATION – ASSET MANAGEMENT TOOL JWater replaced their Asset Management tool and purchased IMQS to be the new assets management solution. IMQS uses GPS view to report the general layout of infrastructure, such water or sewer network, it shown in colour coding corresponding to component attributes. NETAPP STORAGE IMPLEMENTATION JWater purchased NetApp storage to store All ERP applications. The project was to assemble the NetApp storage, build a DEV, QA and Prod environments for all the ERP applications. The last phase was to move all the ERP data, application over to the NetApp Storage. PMS ACTIVE DIRECTORY CLEAN UP The objective of the project was to clean up the JWater MS Active Directory. After the clean-up, it was decided to integrate the MS AD with SAP central User Administrator. This would improve the quality of the MS AD as it will have the current information, which HR had in the SAP central user administrator.
