Refinery Calc Director
Mar. 2023Houston, Texas, United States•Work with traders and analysts on both crude and refined products desks to incorporate Refinery Calc software-driven global refining operational intelligence into decision support and market modeling •Train and assist users in running refinery optimization modeling to discern yields, margins, runs, and crude demand at an individual refinery as well as an aggregate level such as PADD 3, Northwestern Europe, India, etc.
•Collaborate with market participants and subject matter experts to develop leading indicators on crude favorability and the impact on price differentials between grades.
•Promote the HydrogenCalc platform to new energy-focused firms, asset managers, and investors
•Build relationships with strategic partners such as investors in upstream and midstream assets seeking to improve the profitability of portfolio companies
•Develop marketing material, sales literature, and media outreach material and strategy to increase awareness of the firm
•Assist with product development by collecting and interpreting market feedback
•Attend energy industry networking events, conferences, etc.
