Jan. 1997 - Jan. 2002First Baptist Church of Osceola was one of the first churches in this St. Croix River Valley community. The original church body began in 1858 in a small building. The congregation eventually grew and built a unique stone building on the corner of 3rd Avenue and Chieftain Avenue in the heart of Downtown Osceola. The building is no longer used for church services, but is on the National Register of Historic Buildings.
