• Calculate and submit monthly VAT returns as per regulation
• Calculate and submit provisional, as well as income tax returns, as per regulation
• Calculate and submit dividend tax returns, as per regulation • Manage shares and dividend pay outs
• Manage complete financial department consisting of a Credit controller, Accounts Clerk & Filing Clerk
• Manage admin department consisting of admin manager, regional admin manager and eight sales co-ordinators • Oversee warehouses and operational managers, team leaders and staff
• Manage the Receptionist and Cleaning staff
• Reconcile all paperwork and charges related to Imports from mainly UK and China but include Turkey, Germany, Italy and Spain
• Liaise with freight forwarders in the absence of the buyer • Keep accurate records of fixed assets • Calculate and journal all depreciation entries, as per company policy
• Skills development facilitator
• Submission of WSP and ATR, as well as the employment equity report annually
• Setup and facilitate learnerships, employed and unemployed learners
• BEE administrator
• Manage IT & Pastel Partner related problems across Head Office and three branches
• Fulfill all statutory requirements of the company not mentioned specifically above
• Various other responsibilities across all departments and regions including bi-annual trips to regions to ensure the departments are functioning at their optimum
