Jul. 2024Dubái, Emiratos Árabes UnidosI currently work as a Key Account Manager at Sirocco — a joint venture between Emirates Group and Heineken International — leading the commercial strategy and visibility of premium beverage brands in the highly competitive On-Trade market of Dubai. I manage a portfolio of over 200 strategic accounts across the hospitality sector, including Emaar, Marriott, Hilton, Accor, and Mandarin Oriental. Operating in a fast-paced, brand-saturated environment, one of the key challenges is standing out while delivering tangible value to demanding, high-profile partners. In 2024, I achieved over 20% territory growth by designing tailored commercial plans, aligning with brand objectives, and building strong, trust-based client relationships. My role focuses on the super-premium segment, where I drive brand listings and execution in line with the PICOS (Picture of Success) framework. I develop bespoke activations for brands like Heineken, Amstel, and Birra Moretti around major global events including Formula 1, Rugby 7s, and the UEFA Champions League — blending strategic positioning with local market insight. Beyond sales, I forecast performance, negotiate trading terms, oversee GP and ROI metrics, and coordinate technical draught service and staff training to ensure excellence at every touchpoint. I also act as a bridge between Sales, Brand, Trade Marketing, Procurement, and Finance — facilitating collaboration and consistency across all functions. This role has strengthened my consultative sales approach, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills, while teaching me how to navigate pressure and deliver results in a landscape where expectations are high and brand loyalty must be earned.
