Lauren is a passionate educator, researcher, and advisor. She advocates for more time in nature and outdoor play for all children, and more child development education for educators and parents. She has experience teaching all age groups including adults, and all grade levels in public schools thanks to her experiences as a title 1 4th grade teacher, Spanish immersion 5th grade teacher, ELL/ML teacher, and ESL tutoring business owner. She also holds bilingual groups for Pre-K aged children. Lauren has a B.A in digital technology and culture, and an M.A in teaching. She is an instructor at the University level for M.A teaching candidates very part time. In addition to the education sector, Lauren has owned a food truck business alongside her husband, she has more than 15 years experience in customer service, she is savvy with website building, social media, blogging and photography, and she speaks only Spanish to her two young boys.
