Dec. 2014 - Jan. 2018New York, NYAs Director, I led revenue strategy, ad buy consultation, deal tracking and planning, GAAP revenue calculations, and ASC 606 integration for the organization. I regularly consulted and collaborated with Sales, Client Services, Legal, and Finance IT Operations teams, cultivating a culture of communication and engagement. On my team, there were six managers and staff accountants responsible for financial operations across multiple regions. We managed the monthly close process for Revenue, AR, and various operational accounts. Under my leadership, Pandora reduced quarterly revenue deferrals to less than 1% of total revenue through the implementation of new deal structuring processes, resulting in increased efficiency. I also partnered with JP Morgan on our corporate debt covenant compliance, ensuring adherence to all guidelines. My personal achievements in this role include:
- Built revenue forecasting process from ground up, designing variance analysis and reporting strategies and protocols to improve value-add for division. - Managed projects, including IO approval automation, Salesforce improvements and upgrades, off-platform advertising operations, and process improvement identification. - Increased annual deal flow, starting at 60 in 2014 and sustaining more than 150 deals by 2017.
