Jun. 2010 - Jun. 2012Daily operations of the Safety and Industrial Skills departments, involving the following duties: Responsible for the daily operations of the Industrial Skills and Safety departments;
Management of Holmesglen management system, regarding policies, procedures and compliance for ASQA, ISO9001:2000 and AS4801;
Managing and participating in all audit processes, liaising with internal and external auditors;
Overseeing resource development for all courses, including WorkSafe approved courses;
Developing of marketing and publicity for the departments following Holmesglen policies and procedures and considering budget restraints;
Management of administration staff and administration systems such as staff work plans, timetables and staff development;
Maintenance of yearly purchase orders, asset registers, risk assessments, OHS and management of equipment;
Designing and developing training programs for external clients, conducting skills audits, developing training plans and maintaining costings for all training programs;
Managing evaluation of all training programs from budgets to student and client feedback;
Maintaining currency with developments in the VET sector and ASQA.
