I lead a team of project managers, coordinators, vendors, and engineers in designing, installing and certifying high performance wireless networks in approximately 130 corporate real estate managed buildings in primarily Burbank, Glendale and New York. The very complex, enterprise wide, $10-$12M program consists of approximately 4800 access points over approximately 6 million sqft Equipment Scope:
Cisco 3702i and 3702e access points; Cisco 8510 Wireless Controllers Essential Job Functions • Manage assigned projects to completion, ensuring that all activities, including equipment procurement, staging, installation, RF surveys, configuration, and testing are coordinated and completed on time and within budget. • Manage external vendors for satisfactory execution of assigned tasks and responsibilities • Develop accurate project plans and budgets for all assigned projects, modify as needed and direct close-out of completed jobs including the receipt of all required documentation. • Provide regular executive level updates on project deliverables, tasks, scope, risk, resources, and finances. Appropriately flag and escalate issues for executive awareness and action. • Lead internal deployment meetings with other managers and team members to review the status of each job and implement changes as necessary to ensure timely project completion. • Attend customer deployment meetings to provide customer with comprehensive job status reports and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise. • Ensure accurate and complete files are maintained for projects and appropriate close-out documents are distributed in a timely manner in accordance with corporate and customer standards. • Ensure that all jobs are maintained in a project tracking system with complete accuracy
