Jan. 2004Portland, OregonIn 2004, gDiapers launched an entirely new baby diaper category, the hybrid diaper. Featuring a reusable, fashionable outer pant and a patented, absorbent compostable insert. gDiapers can be home composted (wet ones only) and commercially composted. Plans for additional pilots in the UK and US are in the works. gDiapers pioneered Cradle to Cradle product design, the foundation of the Circular Economy approach in 2007 and was an early certified B Corporation. Co-founder / wife Kim Graham-Nye was named one of Forbes Magazines Top 10 most powerful female entrepreneurs in the US in 2011. We are committed to accelerating the transition from our current, flawed linear economy to a waste-free, regenerative circular economy.
