o Create and execute strategies to grow revenue
o Build sustainable and mutually valuable relationships with agencies and advertisers o Create competitive advantage through leveraging MW assets to deliver client solutions.
o Negotiate, review and present annual commitments to agencies/clients.
o Contribute to the setting of the sales strategies and related revenue budgets. Monitor portfolio revenue and margin performance and initiate corrective action where required.
o Lead and manage respective national sales team, ensuring the team are motivated to achieve KPIs o Build and maintain morale and create a work environment that is conducive to better performance and professional satisfaction
o Pitch for new business, in a competitive environment – head to head with other media
o Staff recruitment, coaching & development, training, performance reviews
o Work with internal partners; Production, Marketing, Inventory, Digital, Radio and Media Integration teams
o TV sponsorships and assist in achievement of funding goals for cross platform integrated opportunities, including working closely with partners on; The Block NZ, The X Factor, The Bachelor NZ.
