The FRO is the face of the Commander’s vision for family readiness within the unit and provides proactive outreach and intervention through various functions. Official Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all family readiness matters, ensuring clear and consistent communication between the command and families.
Information and Referral: Provide families with information and referrals to appropriate resources and services.
Readiness and Deployment Support (RDS): Offer support and resources to families before, during, and after deployments to ensure they are prepared and resilient.
Family Outreach: Conduct outreach activities to engage and support families, fostering a sense of community and connection.
Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to assist with family readiness programs and events.
