Ensure consistent up and running systems from backbone IT (AD, Domain, Firewall, Servers, Databases, Cloud IaaS,P{aas setups etc) to End User collaboration systems. This is for all Information technology for all businesses within the al Tayer group (Head Office). IT Infrastructure and Operations includes all the standard 5+ major data centre setup would include. operations. Overlooking multiple IT departments within that help orchestrate the delivery i.e. group wide Server Teams, Database Teams, Data Center Operations, Network department, Service Desk (Helpdesk), Field services & support, new site & store setups, Cloud Service Management, Security(CCTV & Surveillance systems) and IT procurement for the whole group. In terms of dynamics, this is a 13000+ call volume Service Operation, with over 148 IT systems. Increasing number of cloud services (Office365, Salesforce, BMC etc). Development of the Cloud Service Delivery framework. Complete End user compute devices and full life cycle management of devices and their systems. Deployment of successful BYOD policy for the business over 2 years. Research and deployment of VDI. Rollout of Microsoft Teams, VPN and remote management systems within 6 weeks during COVID. Management of the company IT End User Policy. Management of data center operations for firewalls, server and infrastructure. Monitoring tools for pro-active monitoring, downtimes, patch management etc. Business and vendor relationship management (contracts, SLA, negotiations evaluation and service reviews) are one the key deliverable from this role. SLA/OLA based delivery of technology services i.e. Strategic planning, Budget and P&L responsibility, technology Future readiness, availability of Services for core technology infrastructure, applications and EUC Hardware and Software. Execution and implementation of 8+ SLAs for the organization.
