Jan. 2008 - Dec. 2012Klerksdorp Area, South Africa• Analysing and interpretation of GIS Data using GIS systems • Responsible for all tenders documents for site inspection – correct project description, CIDB grading, scoring system and adding bill of quantities in the tender document. • Placing tender advertisements in various news papers. • Tender Closure – compiling of tender report in collaboration with the engineer, which entail the following: - Check if all mandatory information was received and if Tax Clearance Certificates as well as CIDB grading still valid. - Capturing of all contractors bill of quantities into Excel, checking for calculation errors in bill of quantities – making notes to the engineers when evaluating the tender prices. - Assigns a score to each contractor regarding their labour, plant and equipment list, phoning previous clients for references to complete the evaluation process. - Completing the BEE scoring of each contractor. - Final calculation of contractors rating according to relevant scoring system mentioned in tender document. - Compiling of final tender reports for submitting to Client. • Compiling of contractor’s appointment letters upon receiving appointment letters from client. • Receiving all relevant documentation from contractors – Bank Guarantees, Valid Tax Clearance certificate, Cash flows, labour lists. • Completion and signing of contractors contracts by contractors and clients • Organizing of Site handover and all site meetings. • Site meeting agendas and minutes. • Compiling of monthly progress reports in conjunction with the project manager. • Compiling of professional and Contractor claims to be submitted to various municipalities/clients - checking the claimed amount against the projected cash flow – ensuring contractors are within the budget. • Completion of all relevant MIG forms that needs to be handed in with the claims. • General administration, correspondence, presentations and reports for various projects.
