Jul. 2012 - Jan. 2018 First Human Resources Strategic Advisor on school leadership team. One of my major tasks was to hire and train team of five high-performing, engaged, and service-oriented HR professionals. Successfully carried out effective faculty recruitment procedure through Lean methodology to prioritize diversity and encourage faculty participation, leading to the successful recruitment of first-choice, diverse candidates. I adopted innovative and agile staff recruitment and talent management processes to promote growing research function, including supporting out-of-state research sites. Composed new supervisor handbook by coordinating with faculty and managers to foster success of supervisors. Supported my team in creating and implementing performance management training for new staff. My prominent achievements in this role include:
Steered HR service delivery for 500+ salaried and wage employees, covering faculty, staff, and students.
Contributed to formation of four new academic departments and delegation of administrative duties to department chairs.
