Coca-Cola FEMSALabor Relations Manager - Eastern Zone
Aug. 2004 - Feb. 2011Barcelona, Anzoategui State, Venezuela · On-siteDuring my tenure in this prestigious organization I had the opportunity to specialize and make a career for more than six years in the field of labor relations, I started as a Specialist in the Corporate Management of Labor Relations, dedicating myself to the projection of labor costs and liabilities to negotiate and close claims, specifications and achieve union agreements, as well as reaching compensation and social benefits agreements with workers and the union to comply with plans for the consolidation and closure of work plants. Subsequently, I was incorporated into the first regional collective bargaining agreement for the entire Eastern zone, which managed to group and represent 11 workplaces in a single Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). This CBA served as a reference for other negotiations in the country, managing to standardize compensation tables and contractual benefits for workers within the authorized budgets. Following this negotiation, I was promoted and transferred from Caracas (Corporate Headquarters) to the City of Barcelona with direct reporting to the central office to represent the organization locally, directly attend to two unions in the eastern zone and comply with the administration and negotiation of the respective CBAs. During my stay in Barcelona, the Labor Relations Department – Eastern Zone was created, made up of three lawyers under my direct supervision. During this period, we managed to reduce labor conflicts (stoppage of fleets and production plants) and complaints from workers and unions under the policy of 100% compliance with collective bargaining agreements, laws and labor regulations in force.
