Using a 'all hands on deck' approach to launching the site and bringing in revenue, I had an instrumental role in social media, product and business development, sales management, hiring and managing ambitious and faithful staff and on the fly problem solving/decision making.

The idea was to create a social network that was based on creating connections through shared experiences and increasing the worlds cognitive empathy by asking the question, 'What's it like....'. Gained immeasurable knowledge and skill as the primary driver of a (very) lean startup. From the ins and outs of a social network and social media to natural language processing search algorithms. Unfortunately we ran out of funding before it could take off. The biggest lesson learned was that it is incredibly difficult to start a social network but totally worth the effort.
