Qiddiya's disruptive approach is designed to deliver innovative and immersive experiences on a scale never seen before. Spread across a 334-square-kilometer site, Qiddiya will consist of an Upper Plateau city center with sports, arts, residential, and retail space served by a key transportation hub; a Lower Plateau containing the iconic resort core entertainment, hospitality, and motorsport venues; a mixed-use downtown precinct; and numerous other zones featuring a vast array of leisure, outdoor pursuits, residential, event, and festival spaces. Parsons has been appointed the delivery partner for sitewide infrastructure, mobility and transportation, and logistics. The scope includes project, design, procurement, and construction management services for providing utility plant and distribution networks, arterial road connections, metro and high-speed rail connections, and other mobility solutions related infrastructure in addition to managing sitewide construction logistics. Parsons is also jointly developing and managing, with adjacent delivery partners for the Upper and Lower Plateau assets, a cross-city common delivery management functional group.
