Sep. 2006 - Jan. 2014I am a Sittingbourne based freelance illustrator specialising in creating both narrative and abstract collage work of all shapes and sizes. I studied at the Cambridge school of art and I now run my own studio – Artypup! I have been exhibiting my work for the past 7 years in and around Medway and London. I have also had my work commissioned for magazines, events and private collections. I am inspired by colour, travel, mischief and the need to rebel against the doom and gloom. I hoard found objects and I collect postcards, flyers, boxes, posters, key rings, cloth badges, toy seals and Lego. My studio is a minimalist’s nightmare! I work mainly with magazine collage as I find the method of riffling through page after page very exciting, you never know what you will find. I keep an open mind when I start an image as I may find some brilliant sliver of colour or fantastic object that changes the image all together, it’s a fun process.
