Renaissance LearningImplementation Specialist, Customer Service Advisor & RPC, Sale Administrator
Dec. 2007 - Apr. 2012London, United KingdomRenaissance Learning is a software company providing reading, maths and writing tools to the education sector. During my time with the company I have worked in three main departments Sales, Customer Services and Coaching I have also helped in other departments where needed, preparing for conferences, diary management and generating/sending marketing material. Sales Department: I first started with the company within the sales department; the team then consisted of 6 staff of which 3 where field sales reps, over time the team grew to consist of 10 in-house personnel and 1 field sales rep. My duties included entering leads, creating and processing quotations and purchase orders, entering new information on the database, as well as creating and maintaining spreadsheets for in house tracking. Once I was promoted to sales coordinator my role included additional duties such as arranging demos, managing onyxprint which created letters to be sent, implementing and using the new automatic renewal process, and liaising with the main US office regarding new developments and training relating to the sales department. Customer Services Department: On moving to this role I was required to deal with incoming calls and chats, redirecting them where necessary, alongside this I also entered all the customer subscription codes and checked that they are entered correctly, from this I needed to ensure that the customer’s site and product(s) were working and that they had access. Their training could only commence once this process was completed therefore was important that this be done quickly and efficiently. Coaching Department: Working in this department I have been able to further my skills; I was tasked with coaching schools on how to use the products within a series of 1-hour online training sessions or on onsite training days. This has developed my skills in time management, communication and organisation.
