Aug. 2015 - Dec. 2021Orlando, Florida• Researching, analyzing, designing and implementing systems and components to provide immediate and long term solutions that will improve operational reliability, safety, and serviceability of ride network equipment through improved diagnostics and engineering approved software and hardware revisions.
• Responding quickly to downtime situations, troubleshooting for cause and performing repairs related to show quality and ride recovery including fault analysis.
• Researching and designing computer systems to handle closed loop network systems including human maintenance interfaces and ride network safety systems.
• Responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of large server computer systems including RAID servers, fiber optic systems, wireless access points and Ethernet based systems.
• Performing regularly scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance on all ride and show control network systems and infrastructure.
• Responsible for overall security of ride and show control network infrastructure; including firewalls, IPS/IDS, physical access security, device hardening, and implementing configurations with security best practices.
• Configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Cisco L2 and L3 switches, Cisco and Fluidmesh Wireless systems.
• Configuring and Administration of Orion SolarWinds for Network monitoring.
