Duties included: Database monitoring (SQL), workflow changes (HPF Application), queue, component troubleshooting, and end user issue resolution. Remotely administered McKesson’s SQL Server based Horizon Patient Folder software, component servers, and workstation clients on Windows servers and desktops in the hospital environment. Identified, documented, recommended and implemented approaches to most effectively use system functionality and quantify the business value of recommendations. Managed the McKesson vendor relationship to ensure on-time project completion and smooth integration with the hospital's EPIC implementation. Communicated with McKesson, hospital support staff, and other vendors to ensure application functionality. Maintained and monitored the stability of the HPF enterprise environment. Resolved, reported, and communicated project status and relevant information to the hospital's senior management and end-users respectively.
