A Treasury Board Policy was developed and by December, 1988 the Federal Government-wide, Volunteer Risk Management Process and Indemnification from Harm (death and dismemberment) was in place to protect volunteers in government. I worked with the founding board of Canadian Parks Partnership (CPP) and their first executive director as they began their relationship with Parks Canada in 1988, The fledgling CPP, a national affiliation of co-operating associations, created a number of joint business products and processes to help coop associations do business more consistently. Business analysis review processes developed in negotiation with this board. Such products developed including: *Canadian Tire - fishing and fish hook art. *Kodak and Fuji film sales plus sponsored shopping bags; *Hallmark Christmas cards of several of Canada's National Historic Sites; *Hi-Tec Hiking boots; *Kellogg’s cereal box promotions.

The aim was to improve liaison officer performance with non-profit organizations and create better volunteer management opportunities. In 1990, to advance collaboration opportunities beyond non-profits and volunteers, a training course about collaborations developed with a small team and a contractor: Designing Partner Ships. I delivered it with a diversified team, to a varied audience of Parks Canada staff and staff from other Government departments, in both English and French between 1991 and 2001. I also delivered or deliver training in - Service Excellence - Outstanding Visitor Experience - Meeting Facilitation - Learning Design - Learning Evaluation and for United Way and other Non Profits - Board Governance - Leadership Development - Planning Most recently for Parks Canada I'm delivering training in Coaching for Optimal Performance and Managing for Excellence. As well I have created an on-line course for Outreach Education concerning Planning and Evaluation.
