Arizona Autism United (AZA United)Senior Clinical Interventionist
Sep. 2018Phoenix, Arizona Area · RemoteArizona Autism United is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping as many families as possible with individualized support. The org helps over 500 families daily with various services in different settings, such as homes, schools, and clinics. As a Senior Clinical interventionist my role is to onboard and train Clinical Interventionists, ensure protocols are being followed as well as collect and analyze metrics and stats. Additionally, I build strong relationships with clients, guardians, and other providers to offer a more comprehensive treatment. Selected accomplishments include: -Coached over 100+ clients during their behavioral change journey successfully and with long-term results. I supported my clients every step of the way until data showed stability and mastery. -Supported the onboarding and training of 20+ new team members; the process included documentation, providing and receiving feedback, engagement, and promoting company culture.
-Increased cultural awareness and effectiveness for providers in the face of prejudice. I offered a unique perspective on how language shapes the way we think and possible applications in the ABA field. -Adapted the Clinical Family Coaching program into Spanish; this allowed the organization to offer services to the Latinx population and increase community impact.
