Feb. 2020 - Mar. 2024Malvern, PALead a Product Delivery organization consisting of 7 project managers, scrum masters, technical writers and business analysts responsible for the support of all new product and maintenance projects for the digital portfolio. Established the use of consistent tools for tracking, monitoring and reporting across the portfolio to address issues with staffing, quality and compliance and to provide consistent governance and visibility to senior global leadership. Spearheaded an enterprise wide embrace of agile principals spanning governance to finance to execution and a move from project to product thinking in the organization, incorporating principles of SAFe, Agile, SCRUM to organize product teams, implement release train concepts, product to project funding models and governance frameworks. A champion for proper product team roles, agile coaches, workflow changes and new tools to enable this transformation and a contributor to the QMS to enable maximum responsiveness to market needs. Forecast and capacity planned for Digital R&D with resource counts up to 250 people, with annual spend to $40M and year over year budget variance of less than 5% over the past 5 years.
Partner with R&D supplier resource management to support strategic staing needs of the business and Finance for monthly accounting, financial reviews, and reconciliations of supplier invoicing. Established an improved process for accurate alignment with planned spend that is the basis for an ongoing collaboration. Responsible for digital labeling team managing all digital products (SaMD) for 30 locales across the globe. In collaboration with the Regulatory Aairs team, insure global regulatory compliance of product Artwork generation,translations, fit testing, and development of instructions for use. Optimized processes, resulting in a 20% reduction in cost per piece and a 60% reduction in production time. Was also responsible for package labeling for a new product introduction still in development.
