BRG niches itself in the international learning space, representing some of the world's best leadership programs - think Liz Wiseman's Multipliers™ and McLuhan Davies Think On Your Feet, arguably two of the best programs in the world. On our launch day we got in a lift and someone asked "Who do you work for?" My colleague Carol blurted out "Business Results Group" and their immediate reply was "Oh yeah, we've heard of them!" No they hadn't! But that's when we knew we were onto a winner. I spent a wonderful 20 plus years at BRG - sometimes at the helm, often in the galley. It gave me the platform to experiment, learn, grow and fail. During my tenure we introduced The Progress Conference Series, large scale events that hosted international speakers, authors and business thinkers in South Africa. Every event was immaculately delivered and extremely well received. All credit goes to the BRG team for pulling off such memorable experiences. The Progress Conference series personally gave me an opportunity to rub shoulders with global shapers such as Robert Kaplan, Dave Ulrich, Tom Peters, Martin Seligman, Tara Swart, Liz Wiseman, Martin Lindstrom, Ricardo Semler, and Edward de Bono. In the mid 2000's we were also host Joseph Grenny and Patrick Dixon both widely respected thinkers and authors. The best way for me to describe my years at BRG is 'like a sponge' - 20 plus years of soaking up life, learning and conference coffee. And now it's time to wring it all out, hopefully to the benefit of others.
