Main responsibilities:
- Analyze internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement;
- Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short- and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the CTO;
- Directly oversee all business units, operations, HR, and accounting, and partner with the CTO on sales & resource management in order to achieve growth targets;
- Monitor performance against targets and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and projected performance; - Maintain and build relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders such as the United Nations, MNOs, local authorities and international NGOs;
- Control company costs, and introduce tactical initiatives to eliminate unnecessary expenses;
- Monitor invoices, money handling procedures, accounting and bank processes;
- Oversee marketing initiatives and implement better business practices;
- Provide mentoring to all employees, including management;
- Motivate staff to meet or surpass company goals;
- Direct acquisitions and sales of assets;
- Set KPIs for team members and ensure regular monitoring and assessment of staff performance. Acting Unit Manager miKashBoks - a soft commitment saving platform incubated by iDT Labs. Its objective is to advance financial inclusion among poor smallholder farmers in Sierra Leone through mobile money and digital finance.
Experience dealing and integrating with MNOs, working on projects funded by UN agencies and reporting on progress as per United Nations standards and procedures.
