Manage the Maintenance and Engineering teams for plant reliability and availability Implement plant improvement projects according to budget. Monitor LAB results to timeously improve the process

Directly interact with the suppliers of refined sand, scrap metal, and epoxy to meet the products specifications Effectively use the procurement team who had the requisite acumen to check every delivered batch of these products. Liaison with the LAB to coordinate the products sent for production to deliver the required quality to cast the wheels. Build team work to understand the criticality of producing quality resilient wheels as they carried the pulse of the nation to ferry goods and people across the railway network of the country. The 4 shift team system enabled the uninterrupted production of the wheels. The maintenance and Engineering team played a pivotal role in the reliability and availability of machines and equipment to the production teams. The Supply team made all the materials and services readily available for continuous operations execution, I also interacted with a highly Numsa UnIonised team to harmonize labor relationships. Making and meeting production plans in a very challenging supply environment made this plant competitive in the provision of wheels, having successfully improved the scrap rate from 75 percent to just under 25 percent I was able to create more wheels to be exported to China,
