Set up fundamental structure of the student alumni through the following:
- Formed a pool of student leaders consisting of previous students of Stamford
- Organized a welcome tea for past students of Stamford Primary School to tap on leadership potential in certain students to form the Student Alumni Executive Committee and to establish the mission and logo of the Student Alumni
- Formed an executive committee in order to lead the entire alumni student body in activities and to be a mode of contact between the school and ex-Stamfordians; leadership training was also personally conducted with the help of another teacher-in-charge
- Games stall also set-up during school’s Fun Fair and Jumble Sale in service and contribution to their alma mater.
Co-presented during MOE ExcelFest 2006 where experiences, processes involved and benefits gained in the area of Co-teaching were shared in a classroom experience.
Conducted internal PE workshop in 2006 and 2007 to raise awareness of the importance of PE among teachers in the school as well as to equip teachers who are untrained in the field with the ideas and basic knowledge to teach PE lessons specifically in the area of fundamental movement.
Presenter of workshop entitled “BlogEL: Teaching text-types & grammar in the English Language through blogging” during the recent ELLTA(S) (English Language and Literature Teachers’ Association, Singapore) conference sponsored by Singapore Press Holdings Foundation on the 28th May, 2007 at Suntec Convention Centre.
