Oct. 2021 - Apr. 2023Hong Kong SARI assist the Director of Regulatory Affairs and the Executive Directors with all disciplinary related matters as the head of the Discipline Section, ranging from formulating disciplinary procedures against licensees (from inspection to inquiry) and drafting sub-legislation (Travel Industry (General) Regulations (Cap. 634F)), to providing legal opinion on individual cases. I am required to assess the findings from the Investigation Section and decide whether to proceed further with disciplinary action or not. My duty also entailed management of the Section (leading a team of two, an Assistant Manager and an Officer) and providing training and seminars to both our staff and licensees on promotion of the new regulatory regime.
