By creating a new go-to-market strategy, sales positioning and engineering alignment I successfully grew the revenue contribution from 10 to 35%. Cost savings of over $1.2 million also funded the expansion of the engineering teams.

Clarified the positioning, reduced the complexity of the pricing model and created a new go to market strategy that returned the products to profitability. At the beginning of 2004 the venture backers of Tonic decided to look for an exit strategy and I was asked to help with the technical due diligence efforts of prospects, and stayed on after Altiris acquired Tonic in December 2004 to manage the transition.
