Jun. 2015I am the co-founder and current owner of N!A Caps, a creative outlet for me. N!A Caps sells premium quality headwear. Originally an e-commerce business only (www.nacaps.co – a self-developed online store), we now have a retail outlet in Maerua Mall as well. Standard Bank Namibia: • Contracted on two separate occasions, once as a Business & Systems Analyst and then as a Project Manager. • Managed the team of Implementation Specialists to migrate all the bank's Corporate Clients (Host to Host) onto the new EFT payment rails (NAMPAY). • Documented system and business requirements for a new Payments Hub, in alignment with industry regulatory requirements (NAMPAY). • Conducted process mapping and documented AS IS data flows in relation to the PCI DSS regulatory project. Nedbank Namibia: • Contracted on two separate occasions, primarily as a Test Manager & Analyst. • Assisted on a project to migrate corporate clients from one electronic banking platform to another. • Assisted with facilitating testing by business users, logging and tracking / reporting of defects and enhancements, prioritising and scheduling development backlogs, reviewing enhancement specifications, training, client support, etc. Other: • Website development and testing (self-projects and with 3rd party tech companies). • Social media & digital marketing. i.e. Assistance with setting up of company pages and training.

The methodology approach remained mostly waterfall, but during this time there was an understanding of agile principles gained. Project platforms included mostly iOS and Android. One highlight: delivered rapid iterations of an award-winning Property Inspection and Lighting Management tool (iOS) for a client based in the United States (alongside other concurrent projects).

Wanting to drive the discipline forward to uplift internal skill sets throughout the company, the team is responsible for the planning and conducting of internal training (both on-going and for new hires), general research and administration, ensuring knowledge spread, reviewing and refining processes and the supporting of QA’s within the company. In June 2012, representing the QA CoE, I additionally served on the overall Centre of Excellence (CoE) to help ensure synergy between the various disciplines and respective CoE’s within the company.
