My focus was to ensure a stable, secure, scalable, responsive and well- documented system environment for both customer-facing and internal technical operations. I have introduced agile work across my team members: Operations, DB admin, QA, 2nd level support, It-service, BI and Web Development. I implemented Configuration Management, reduce deployment schedule and introduced scalability through the cloud. I managed to accelerated deployment and introduced daytime deployments. Working closely with the CTO, we drove the organisation towards a DevOps culture. One of my biggest achievements was to complete and deliver the first international certification ISAE 3000 and specific German IT declarations in company’s history.

I was responsible for leading and directing the overall vision and strategy for BullGuard’s products, backend and general usage of technology. In my years in BullGuard I successfully launched 10 different security products online and offline for consumer market. I introduced new innovative technologies and structures, that brought BullGuard’s products to the highest level of security. I managed to keep security simple with a high focus on usability and great understanding of customer needs. Our products competed against major enterprise companies as Symantec and McAfee. We won numerous awards from reviewers and 1st places on independent security tests. I introduced the best mobile security and backup solutions to consumers with great success. With the PR department’s support, BullGuard became one of the preferred written and visual media sources for security topics. We published several security articles in computer magazines and newspaper. I played an important role in bringing BullGuard from a small unknown security producer to the major player.

As a CTO, I managed the technical applications and the outsourced application development projects. I designed the backend infrastructure. I built global payment solutions and communication platforms. I integrated third party technologies into core security applications. I defined and developed the scalable infrastructure with redundant failover systems.As a result of a high-performance security application, the business registered a high increase in MRR and gain fast market awareness. Hence, in 2004, Excid received “Security partner” award of the year in EMEA from our global security partner CA.

Jan. 2000 - Dec. 2003Copenhagen Area, Denmark1stFrontostore was a start-up company producing and commercialising CMSs and customized e-Commerce solutions. Acting as a project facilitator, I was responsible of product development and customer communication across all web projects. I developed and improved the e-Commerce and electronic ticket system for the public transport sector. I was the leader programmer in Denmark’s biggest news portal, built in JAVA.
