Apr. 2007 - Oct. 2008Mahwah, NJ•Manage the process (claims, administration and billing) for all the benefit programs including: medical, dental, vision, life insurance plans, short term disability, long term disability, Family Medical Leave Act, flexible spending accounts, COBRA, Retiree benefits and 401(k) savings plan
•Administer benefit programs in accordance with human resource, ERISA and HIPPA regulations
•Handle electronic exchange of eligibility, enrollment, and deduction information with all benefit vendors
•Administer 401(K) savings plan including monthly eligibility, loans, QDROs, contributions, and wiring of funds to the vendor. •Manages the disability benefit program consisting of enrollment, calculation of disability pay, monthly billing and processing of payments received, resolving claim issues, and maintaining employee disability files
•Responsible for the administration of medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, and flexible spending accounts
•Track and analyzes enrollment, claims, and administrative expenses and prepares reconciliation with accounting to ensure no discrepancies
•Assist with the preparation and editing of annual enrollment communication materials
•Prepare and conduct presentations on new benefit plans
•Perform other tasks including: cobra administration, medical support notices, processing death claims, monthly benefit enrollments and confirmation statements, and assisted in the annual enrollment process
•Coordinate company health fair
